"Don't ever be feared into silence just because someone doesn't want your story told"
Every year since 2004, the UK raises awareness of abuse during National Anti-Bullying week in November through the Anti-bullying Alliance, a coalition of organizations and individuals united against bullying.
This year 'We Are Stronger' Charity, a core member of the Alliance, has teamed up with St Thomas More Catholic School in London to raise awareness of bullying among its 1,200 pupils and in particular 11-15 year olds. We Are Stronger will be introducing three outstanding individuals to the school alumni on November 15th as role models who will be sharing their inspiring stories. Two are award winning athletes, Daisy Mumby and Elia Dewu, and they will be joined by the charity's Lead Educational Coach Anita Milani and Lili Tarkow-Reinisch, a renown psychotherapist who specializes in working with young adults.
'Finding Strength - Sharing Stories' is the charity's theme this year. Our aim is to encourage and inspire young people to speak up for themselves and others and stand up against bullying.
